When Kronos Inc. in 2009 launched LiveInspired, its global corporate wellness program, the goal was simple: reduce health care costs.
That quickly changed as the Chelmsford, Massachusetts-based software company discovered the program was an effective way to engage both employees and their spouses. The online technology portal provides employees and their spouses with information and tools to report and track individual incentive points and enroll in companywide wellness challenges.
Employee participants also have access to wellness coaches and are able to sync their wellness devices to track steps and fitness activity more easily. Employees and their spouses appreciate that ease. Since rolling out the program, Kronos has seen its engagement increase dramatically.
The organization currently has a 96 percent CEO approval rating and is ranked 4.3 out of 5 stars on its Glassdoor page.
For its successful corporate wellness program that engages employees and their families, Kronos is the silver 2015 Optimas Award winner for Benefits.
